Spacer Star Couplings

For applications where connected shafts sit at a larger distance apart, we offer Spacer Star Couplings using snapwrap or T-cushion flexible elements. Individual T-cushion replacement reduces long-term replacement cost, and the design allows rapid disconnection without disturbing the drive or driven unit useful in maintenance-heavy environments. This design also lowers inventory cost, since components are interchangeable with L/SW coupling parts, removing the need to stock every part separately.

L Series

  • Simple in construction. Consists of two hubs & a spider. 

  • Every other spider arm is an idler arm and can be advanced to load carrier jaws. 
Hence it functions as a spare spider in every coupling.

SW Series

  • Replacement / inspection of elastomeric member (i.e. snapwrap) done without disturbing existing alignment.
